Joseph grew up on the Rockingham Estate and continues to live there. He studied Politics at the University of Cambridge and is currently completing his Master’s degree specialising in British representation and democracy. Joseph is passionate about addressing social inequalities, particularly in education and started an organisation called Equivalent-Exchange aimed at supporting, mentoring and providing opportunities for pupils in the most disadvantaged schools. As an activist in the local community, he advocates for more entrepreneurial and educational opportunities for young people to help break the cycle of generational poverty.
